'"Yes", says the Lord, I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt." All the nations of the world will stand amazed and what the Lord will do for you," Micah 7:15.
The bills just keep coming. The medical report is grim. You lost your job. In the midst of these obstacles, it's easy to think, "God is nowhere in sight,".
The most natural thing to do is amplify the problem. Really? We've got a God that created the sun and the stars, parted seas and breathed life into mankind and yet, we have the audacity to think, "This is too much for Him,". What, are we crazy?
Sometimes it takes what appears to be a loss to see the Lord shine.
Think about Abraham and Sarah. One of the best examples of "doubters" and how God always proves them wrong. He was 100 and she was 90 before they had the son they had always dreamed of.
When Christ hung on the cross, no one would have thought such a gruesome and heinous death would bring life. But it did.
There is nothing that is too difficult for the Lord.
Thank you for filling your Word with countless examples of miracles.
Give me the faith to believe, if you did it for them, you'll do it for me.
Give me vision to go past my sight. Amen.
