Transcript
So, anyway. Well, we'll get started. Crystal, if you want to pray for that meeting and then okay. Yeah. Yeah.
Heavenly Father, we just thank you, um, that you're a God of order, a God of purpose, and we just invite you into this meeting.
We ask for your wisdom, your guidance, um, as we're, um, barking on the neck and barking on the next step. Um, we just lift up Sophie to you right now, God, and we just ask that this will pass quickly. We ask that you give her, um, some peace through this and that, um, you'll bring her some comfort tonight. And we'll just ask most of all that everything we do tonight, everything we say would bring glory and honor to you and, um, that would fulfill the calling that you have for each of us.
Um, and the purpose that you have for created woman in Jesus name we pray, amen. All right. Well, first of all, thanks for moving the meeting. I really was, um, from my first conversation with Terry thought that she was going to give us some things to be ready for. And there might be some things, but there was nothing that we could take.
But, uh, she sent me that agenda on Friday. We went over the meeting on Monday, but she didn't get that to me on Friday until Friday late. Um, and then, of course, I didn't do anything with it yesterday. I was gone all day. Um, so I'm not sure if y'all had time to look at it with the few short hours you've had it.
But all I wanted to do with this meeting is look at the agenda, give you some notes that Terry gave me. And, um, one thing I feel certain about, and I said it in the email, is I really think after talking to her the first time with Crystal a few months ago, and then our prep call in January, and then again, Or whatever.
I've talked to her twice, uh, since, uh, Crystal and I did it together. Well, that was Cynthia, though, we talked with. Um, I feel confident that this is gonna answer all the, a lot of the questions of what do we do. Like, like Penny, I know you've said a couple of times, like, I'm not sure what you, what role you want me to have on the board.
And I think those are the type of things that's really gonna set us up for success. And Tamia, I even feel like this could help you with your other boards that you're a part of. And might be a tool that you could use. Um, I, they are so wise and smart and I really do. Um, Kendra's on her way. Um, they really do.
I really do trust them. Y'all met Camille a few months ago, who does our accounting. Camille works for Terry. So they're all part of the same thread. Um, we would not be where we are without them, just to be honest. So if y'all want to pull it up, I'm going to screen share and just go over it. And y'all can, um, okay.
She says, but she's in the car, but she has Wyatt with her. So forgive her. If there's a kid screaming in the background, basically it's what she's saying, um, chime in and ask questions. Uh, and I'll clarify if I can, to be honest, um,
screen share.
Hey, Kendra and Wyatt.
Okay. Can y'all see my screen? Yes. All right. Yes. Okay. So it is going to be on Saturday from 10 to 3. Crystal, I know you were asking about that and I wasn't, couldn't remember. Um, but it is 10 to 3. And so, uh, we're going to have the team here on Friday night and we're going to do the team full. Uh, retreat on Friday night.
I'm not sure yet what we wanted to do. We can talk about that, but I wanted to see what this was first. Um, but I just feel like it's a good kickoff for even the team just to do it all in one weekend. And then some nights when the night, some might we'll have breakfast, everybody will leave, and just the board will stay at 10.
Um, it'll be Cynthia and Terry. Um, I don't think except for Crystal. No one's met them. Um, you know, that's just, you know, so here are the retreat elements. Determine direction, clarify message, create your road map and evaluate progress are the main things for the three year strategy. Okay, so we're just going to go I'm going to go over this.
Stop me when you want, and I'll explain in between as much as I can because we went over this in detail me, Terry. And Cynthia at on Monday. Um, so Terry will kick it off. Um, talk about intended outcomes. You are all going to love her. I she is. I think every time she speaks, she's just so engaging and just to even give you a background of who she is.
She's been in ministry. She's a ministry at a church for 20 years and then has run her own nonprofits, two different ones. Um, I can't even know how many years that is, but her organization is the hub for other organizations like ours. And then Cynthia will come up, um, she'll talk about where we are now, our passion curve, do members really know what the organization is doing, session overview, and how we get to the place we need to be.
And they know that our main goal for the next two years, and I know I know you've heard me say it. I know I put it even on the agenda back in 2022 when we first said, okay, it's time to meet again. It was work myself out of a job. And that is really my goal. And it's so and how not to leave creative woman, but to bring in someone that can run the organization.
So that I can stay in my lane more and we can set it up as a success, but the only way we're going to get there is really setting, setting up the board and the different processes that we need to do to function as a team. If I step out, because as it is right now, it still is if I step out, things fall apart and that's not what we want to happen.
So, uh, then best practices. Terry will come back up and talk about board responsibilities. The difference between a hybrid governance and a working board. Do y'all know the difference between those? No. Okay, so what that is, um, hybrid governance is means like some are working, some are not. And then a working board means that everyone's working, meaning everyone has a piece that they are responsible for.
To work on in between. Otherwise, we end up being an advisory board and that's not what we're working towards. We're working towards having a board that is, uh, working that owns a piece of the puzzle and is running with it, reporting on it and, uh, doing the outcomes. And so, once we determine the direction, which is above that.
That really will then that's why it leads into what the responsibilities are. Um, does that make sense? Yes. And y'all can unmute. I don't think anybody, only Kendra's muted. Okay. Um, but chime in if y'all have a question, because I don't want it to be confusing. I want us to all be ready for the retreat. Um, then we'll have a break.
So that's determined the direction of where we want to go. Clarify your message, review and discuss, mission statement, purpose, vision, vision meaning world perfect. What do we really want to see if we had the perfect world? And core teaching. And I'll have to tell you here is where she said, we need to change your vision statement.
And I was like, sorry,
she goes, yeah, it's been 13 years. It's time to change it. I was like, Oh, she was. So I'm, I'm going to sit back and just let them talk about that and see, and I'm going to put, she sent me a sample that I want to think about. Um, once you said the word in power is overused, which I'm, I know that. And I love always saying we were the first to say it.
Um, I don't know. I don't know. That's the one I'm going to have to struggle with a little bit, but I'm ready to do. I'll do whatever at this point, as long as I know God's in it. Um, so that is going to be a big chunk of our time is reviewing the mission statement, purpose, the vision statement. And I love how she says that your vision statement is what your perfect world looks like.
It's not what you want to do. It's not how you get there. It's like, what does it look like at the end world? Peace.
Then lunch break. How we then we I'll have it catered or something as always. And we'll be here and have a lunch break. Okay, then we're going to come back and we're going to create the roadmap after we know we talk about what we want and how we want to get there. We clarify that. We're going to create the roadmap goals, objectives, strategies, responsible parties, cost, budget, timeline, expected outcomes present and present template and guided processes.
And that's Cynthia. And I really like her. I've only met her twice, um, both online. She's really smart and I really like her. Um, and that'll be an interactive. Uh, session where they all are interactive, but, but this is more so interactive
and they're really good about keeping everybody on time. That's what I like to. Okay, then we're going to have a break and then we're going to come back and we're talking about a 3 year goals, outline and timetable determine if they are sufficient and appropriate and explain how to continue to build the goals document and all of that really based on what we want from the board, what I see for vision and programs.
And all, how all that works together. So we're bringing those two together. Because whatever we do, whatever we, the vision is, and the board, then we have the goals and objectives and strategies. Does that make sense? Yes.
Okay, that's a lot of information so far. How are we doing? Good. Good. Okay. Okay, then we move on to the next step. Evaluate your progress. Best practices, commitment to action. How far have we come today? I love that because I think you always have to review and see. We've come a long way in 13 years. We've got a lot to celebrate, a lot of good things that we've done.
And then review of outcomes. Are we better equipped to govern and work? Are we comfortable in completing a strategic plan? And this is where this is really where I feel like between now and then the retreat and also after, I think that even for me, as I look at, this is a two year process for me that all of you have to internalize, is this going to be a two year process for me too?
Or do I need to put my gifts and talents somewhere else or whatever? Because I believe the next two years. Will be strategic and setting up the nonprofit for what it needs to be. And so that's my prayer, not only for me, but all of you guys, and that's kind of the prayer I want you to pray to. Is this is going to be a lot of information.
A lot, and it's going to come out with of action of what we all have to do. And so just be prayerful and mindful of that, that, um, it's not going to be a full time job by any means. But it is going to set up the board. For success or in the organization for success. So be careful about that between now and then and moving forward of what that looks like.
And then I'll do closing remarks and that's it. Just a simple exercise. Okay. Simple. And it's one of the reasons after I talked to her that I was like, yeah, we're going to end the conference. We're going to end the retreat at three. We'll be dead. We'll be brain dead because this is not usually we do conf like we did last year.
We did two days. It was a lot of pouring into and that's what I like to do for our team retreats is pouring into a little mixture of both. This is this is not that this is a work day that we're all going to be working and talking and All of that. And that's why I think it's super important in that email that we be prayed up, um, that we really asked the Holy spirit to go before us, that we want his ideas, God ideas, because he uses our gifts and talents to create his ideas.
And that's, what's really important to me. We can have all the gifts and talents in the world, but we want it to be his ideas and that's it. So, um, I'm, I know that you guys are supposed to be here. I know that we've come a long way and I'm just excited for the future. So I'm excited for this because I feel like it's going to be a game changer, to be honest, or like in a really great way,
thoughts, questions on any part because that's it. No questions. I'm really excited. It seems very clear and the goals are really clear. The outcomes are really clear and how we get there seem pretty laid out. Um, so, yes, Heather, thanks. Thanks for taking the time to put this together and I'm looking forward to it.
Yeah. Yeah, I'm just excited. Sorry. I'm just excited to see what all they have to say. Yeah, I was going to say I didn't put the agenda together. They did. I just put the ask out. I don't know about that vision statement thing. Like you said, I'm curious to see how that goes. I mean, I'm open minded, but that's very interesting to me.
Oh,
Yeah, TBD TBD on that one. I think that's gonna be good because I agree like the empowered Um, the word empowered has, it's just become like, uh, people have just used it so casually over the years. Yeah. It's like empowered. And like, it used to be where it was like, yeah, definitely. You know, I know for sure where my PTSD comes from is there was a season when I worked at the church.
That we were changing our vision statement literally every other, that like every other month, it really was a season of craziness. And I remember someone on staff, his name, uh, he was a runner like going for the Olympics and he literally raised his hand one time after all of this. He was like, you know what?
Nike's vision statement is just do it. And it's been there for 30 years. Yeah, we can change in our vision statement. What? And I think I had that like, Oh, you don't change your video. That's like their tagline. Yeah. But still, his point was, everybody knows. Why do we keep changing our verbiage? Yeah. You know, why do we keep changing our, and so I remember that season very well.
And I love our vision statement. Um, and so if it means that we can do the same thing with different words, You know what? Yeah. That's what I think. That's what I think. Yeah. I mean, I think maybe changing it a little bit, it, it, um, it's kind of like, you know, when people see the same thing over and over and over, they become stagnant on what it is.
Yeah. Yeah. And I'm just to the point to like, if I'm going to let someone come in and two years, I'm going to start letting go of my, letting my baby grow, if that makes sense. And as long as we can help women with their purpose and their dreams, I, I don't, I'm like, that's the core mission is to help women with their dreams and their purpose and understand that God has created them on purpose and for purpose.
That's all that matters to me. I'm not doing any other thing except helping women identify their dreams and purpose and lead well, you know, that's what we're going to do.
Sounds good.
Anybody else? I think everybody spoke actually.
Now, I'm really excited as well, honest. I do think we need a refresh on our vision statement, um, to be a little bit, to have a clear distinction of exactly, of exactly what does that mean, um, because there are some women that even with their vision statement that they're like, okay, that sounds good. But what do you do?
Yeah, you know what I mean? So there's always kind of that follow up. It was like, okay, how does that work? What? Yeah, yeah, the follow up what you do. So I was just reading through this document that, um, that Kendra sent out, um, for our last, we didn't, we didn't really go over it, but I mean, there's some great stuff on here that I think would, um, That we could definitely use or look at to create that new vision, uh, statement, um, and, you know, some key words and stuff.
So anyway, I have to say, I have to say that they actually, Terry actually liked what we have on Instagram right now. I was like, okay. Yeah, I would agree with that. I'm just taking it all in.
Um, well, I, you know what, well, I think what we're really seeing is not only, um, from the, uh, um, the churches and culture is that is, is that, you know, it's really, it's serious, like being able to have something that is extremely direct and serious at the same time that it really means, hey, We're, we're getting down to business here.
And, um, and so I think something that really has that clarification and is in a vision statement that really encapsulates as succinctly what we stand for and what, and, and, and how they could be a part of it. Yeah. I think is is needed. So I think from a culture standpoint, uh, to reach those younger generations, the culture definitely changed.
You know, we've seen that even in our own organization, those coming You know, of who's, you know, we saw that in 2022 that our audience changed and that's because the culture changed. Right. Right. So we're serving different women than we were before. Um, so I'm taking that into account and you know, yeah, um, I forgot, sorry, I was talking like, I don't think you're doing, um, just in terms of like helping women find their, their dreams and purpose and stuff like over the years.
I think that. Uh, creative woman has helped probably, I don't even know how many women step into their dreams and purpose. It's shifted on what it looks like, but I'm, I'm sure just the testimonials could be like endless on how creative woman played a part in, you know, people pursuing their dreams and purpose along the last 13 years.
For sure. For sure.
Well, I think it's going to be great. I'm excited about it. I totally trust their hands in knowing how to operate a nonprofit because no matter what, a nonprofit is different than any other entity. It's just the same way a church is different from a corporation and vice versa. There's things you can marry, but it just is.
And so to have that expertise come in and say, no, actually this is how it's done is I think the most beneficial thing we can do. Um, okay. Real quick. If we're good with that, are we good with that? Yeah. Okay, I'm gonna stop sharing then. Um, conference. I know we've talked about this. It was at vision night that we really announced it because it was so quick.
I think I've been able to follow up with everybody that maybe wasn't there. Um, but we just felt like at vision night, as we were all there, the 2 days before the weekend before, whatever it was like a few days before. No DCX approached us to do the conference. They're the ones that asked us to do the conference.
They're the ones that gave us the building. They're the ones that gave us the 10, 000. They are no more as of two weeks ago. And so at vision night, as we prayed, I think we all were just in agreement. Yeah, we just got to change it. Um, and I feel really good about that because. I'm always fine with pivoting.
You guys know that I'm totally like strategy change. All right. That was a real clear Lord close the door moment. Um, you got to keep going until he closes the door. And that was a real clear, that was a real clear moment of closing the door. Um, so, uh, what we've talked about before and we can get, I want to discuss it is, uh, the D D L C curriculum is almost complete.
Um, we have circles, we have, uh, uh, membership, we have, uh, podcasts, I'm going to be relaunching here soon. I really wanted to get through all this board stuff. Um, and events. And so I really feel like all four of those things out, even membership, so it can, can evolve around this year, at least the curriculum.
For instance, like a book launch event. Those events that we talked about a lot, just going to different cities, it can all circle, it can all, uh, feature around, focus around, that's what I'm looking for. The DLC curriculum and book launch, where we can have events, that's the book launch, where we have panel, something fun, and then we say now go form your circle, join membership, take the curriculum, do host, join, whatever, host, join, lead.
And so I think it's a great way to reach women. It brings us back to where we're good at doing events, but not monthly reaching new women going to different cities. And we can figure that out. That could be part of our strategy sessions. But really looking at that curriculum because resources is where we all started in 2010 and 2011.
We have 35 books. I've counted, um, and really, instead of that, just being an extra being this is our event. This is our new product. This is what you need to use lead join. Post a group and join membership to go deeper and so it brings the writers in it makes us all one team And it's one it's one. I mean, I really see doing curriculum a lot a lot more thoughts on that penny since you want to travel Now, I think that's great.
I can see God really moving through all of that. I'm excited about that for sure It'll be cool. Yeah, the writers worked really hard on that at the end of the last they really did. I I agree I think focusing on the curriculum Is where we can really make an impact. Yeah, we have great curriculum great writers.
Great. It's always so good I mean, it's so good. Tammy takes a five week study 20 Can you share some story? I mean, you really are the one that's in CW circles right now. Like all the others shut down because we were done stories. Um, I haven't heard anything recently, just testimonies coming out of that.
circle and what you're learning now? Yeah. So, um, we've been in this, um, well, the last three weeks we've been in identity, um, and really unpacking that and, um, It's, it's been huge. I mean, there's, there's some things, you know, you never really, um, it's these types of topics that really loosen what's inside and, um, and you, you know, you think, you know, people and you know, their stories, but then there goes, we go to a whole nother level of transparency and, and we, and we're constantly saying, wow.
I can't believe I just shared that with y'all. You know what I mean? Because, but then, um, You know, the Lord's like, Oh my God, you know, it's, it's exactly what the other person needed to hear. Like, um, for example, um, Tessa, um, for seven years was on a track to become a Jew, basically, you know, to, and, and it was through that.
And I, I didn't know that. And, um, but it is interesting because, um, one of the things that I shared. Uh, was talking to another gal that was, she became a Christian Jew, but, um, how just not ever say, ever saying that word Jesus and, and I shared with her, it was like, you know, in situations like that, you know, she shared with me that she had to deliberately every day replace.
God's name with Jesus because it was God wasn't real to her. Um, but the word Jesus was significant. I mean, it had all this power and it really just saying Jesus. And so I shared that with Tessa and Um, I mean, it was like a breakthrough for her, um, you know, and to me, it's just, I'm just talking about it, not having any idea that it would have such, such an impact.
Uh, Brenda talking about, you know, how, um, um, her Catholic upbringing and how that, what that looked like for her and how, you know, um, uh, what was lacking and that just truly ministered to. Stephanie, um, you know, that was setting there. Um, and also Holly, who's, who's new. So we have eight women, uh, now, um, and, um, and then I shared, uh, something that I really had no idea that I was going to share.
And it was, um, how to get closer. Like when my daughter and I were really going, when she was 15, just, you know, really going through some struggles and and, um, Um, I went to a conference and the biggest thing that I walked out there with was, um, we're constantly with our teenagers, we're constantly trying to bring them into our world.
And instead of, and we lived upstairs, downstairs house. So it was kind of also like, I'm always, you know, come down here, Chrissy, come down here, like get into my world down here on the first floor. Versus going up to the second floor and not even having an agenda. Just, you know, walking into a room, keeping my mouth shut because the room did not look like the rest of the house.
But the whole thing was like, just the, if, if we really want to have that relationship, there's, there's things that we are called to do to get into their world. And And it was just being laying on her bed and taking a magazine with me and just spending that time and how God answered the prayer over and over and over of her, um, you know, what you're looking at, you know, and her starting to talk to me and I shared that and it just had a huge impact on Holly, who is going through the same thing with her daughter.
And, and then, um, she, three days later, she brought her daughter, uh, up to the boutique. And, um, and she had said, she goes, Chase never wants to go anywhere with me. She just, you know, it's like, if mom's going to be there, I don't want to be anywhere there. And they were spinning that, she actually told her mom, she goes, I'd like to, it was, her birthday was the next day.
I'd like to go. Birthday shopping with you and you know, don't get me a gift. I'd like to go and spend time with you on that I mean and Holly was just like oh my gosh, but she did, you know She was just talking about how each one of us of what we're talking about is really pouring out and that's that's literally I mean You know, eight women for an hour sitting in a circle talking about one page of content that come and get some video of you like real video and testimonies.
I think, um, that as we promote circles, we'll have real content and people and testimonies. I think we need to do that. Like a real camera person, not just. Yeah. Well, and that's one of the things that I think I shared with Penny. I mean, I've been in situations like in our church and stuff like that of, um, um, to where you, we have, we have someone that comes and just joins for a session or for a day that's, um, that's part of, you know, um, of our, one of our leaders that is there just to, You know, be a fly on the wall to really see how it's going and, and to do that, you know, with, you know, five or six other, you know, CW circles, right?
So that's how we're gathering them. We're really seeing the impact and they're hearing the stories. But even more than that, kind of like, you know, giving, uh, the circle the opportunity to kind of, to share, like, here's what, you know, here's what the circles really, the impact that it's really having. You know, in my life.
Uh, and then there's other things like Tiffany. I mean, we kind of get into like tangible stuff. Like, you know, Tiffany is, she's obsessed with the page house and the, and the, um, the history of all that. And You know, we're coaching and I said, just start writing it all down. It's probably going to turn out to where they're going to do an exhibit at the, at the Williamson County Museum with that.
So it starts with something little like that, and then that's just grown into other stuff. And so anyway, I could go on and on. What I love about that too, is that I've noticed just from, um, people that because of your influence, um, Tammy and that circle. People have joined membership because of that. And so that is the flow.
And I know that Kendra is working on the flow of, um, I'm never going to say right, but the funnel of how do people enter and CW circle is one of those first things. And then in our final, you know, thing, wish big dream is that they're in membership because one bottom line as a nonprofit, it's profitable.
And that's really where we look to more versus donors. Now I'm seeing that more, I can explain that more later, uh, just from other nonprofits talking. Um, and then, um, Also, it's if people join membership, that means they want to grow more. Yeah. And they want more tangible. And so, um, I know y'all all on Mighty Networks, we've only got five minutes left, so I won't take up this time.
So I want to share, everyone share last thoughts, if any. Um, but we are almost done with Mighty Networks. We're already there. Um, there's a few people on there. It's all family. And then Tammy has invited her circle. So anyone you see there is a volunteer or Tammy's circle. And then, um, we're almost ready to tell membership to go pay through that and, um, Kendra, I'll let you share your thoughts.
Yeah. Thank you. I was like, I just got some Botox last week. So if it looks like I don't have expression, that's it. All right. I'm a little bit frozen. Happy about it though. Anyways, um, so yeah, last, last week or the week before, uh, Heather and I, uh, went through kind of a flow of what we would like to see just a step by step kind of flow of where we see people, um, starting and landing.
And so if you don't mind, if I just kind of quickly walk you guys through it, just so you know, as leaders, can you guys hear me? Okay. Yes. Yeah. Okay. Um, so, yeah. Um, basically, the first time, the first introduction to, uh, Creative Woman, we always, of course, want to get them onto our, our email list, um, because that's how we do our communication.
But then after that, like we want everybody, every human being who's interested in Creative Woman whatsoever to be invited into the, um, Mighty Networks. It's really, really important that we just. Get everybody onto mighty networks. Um, and from there, I put a pin in that one. One. We own it more than we do.
Facebook and Instagram. Yeah. Well, yeah. And, um, it also saves us like we want to do. We've been wanting to do like text message notifications for a long time, but honestly, it's so expensive and there's We still don't have the funds to do it. So with this, they get the notification and so we can at least be, um, Oh, I'm so glad to see my otter pilot joined us today.
That was nice. We only have two more, we're going to get like three more minutes. All right. All right. So anyways. So there we go. We have, um, the land divided networks from there. We want everyone to be in a circle like everybody. We want everyone to be in a circle. I want to join. I want to like start a circle and it will be people from all over.
Right. And then from there, um, we want people to go into, we want us, the owners of a circle to be the ambassadors for the membership. Like our goal is that we get everybody Into becoming a member. And so, um, as you leave a group, as you're a part of a group, it's really, really important that we, we want everybody to be a part of it.
And the perks of that is the masterclass, um, the, um, masterminds and then getting your toolkit. But really, it's about, it's about being a part of like a larger, um, more intimate community. Yeah, and honestly, it is the sustainable way. Although we love donors and we will never stop asking for that. Even just this year, talking to different nonprofits, um, it's the most sustainable when you have a, uh, what's the word I'm looking for?
A product, if you will. And this is more like a product and, and, um, because what I have found and I've said for years, uh, is unless you're a Christine Kane, a Lisa Turkers, When you say you're helping women leaders, that's not where their money wants to go. They want, they believe you, they support you, they want to be a part of it, but they're going to help the abused woman, the trafficked woman, and all of that more, especially when it comes down to dollars.
And in this season, it's very, I have found, and I, and this is even coming from a huge organization here in Austin called ABBA, where they have hundreds of contacts and events with a bridge. Pastors and businesses throughout the community. And I know their leadership team very well. And they have said the same thing that because their leadership, they get more from their membership than they do from their donor money.
And that's what they have found. And so, uh, even with talking with Camille, she's like, you need more donors. I'm like, I think it's more members. It's not, we want people to be, and also, yes, it's, and also, but. It that is where, um, if you say give 25 a month, people will consider it. You say, be a part of our membership and get this for 25 a month.
They'll do it because they want to grow and they want to meet and they want to be in community. I agree with that. I agree with. Because of who we are and what we're promoting, and I think that's where the money's going to be. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's going to be so cool to see. I'm, I'm extremely excited about the Mighty Whip Network and, um, have, like, just being able to curate these, like, circles of people that you can have influence on, whatever your, Whatever God, um, has placed in your heart as a, as a leader, as a mentor, I just think it's a really great opportunity to have impact outside of the church.
I'll say this one thing about Mighty Networks and then everybody can share last thoughts because I promised 45 minutes and today is our last day of our 21 day fast. We're going to go out to eat. I know. Us too. Well, I'm probably going by myself because my husband's doing pretty great. That was us last night.
I'm sorry. My husband actually asked for, instead of going out, for my homemade hamburgers. Aww. Those must be really, they must be really good. They're pretty good, I have to say. Do you make pound cake? No, no, he was more worried about the meat. Yeah. Okay, so this is the last thing I'll say about my, and I'm going to try to share my phone, but if you even open it, it says Tammy and she's used this.
Like if you, if you create a circle, you're not going to see it. Like, if you look at CW circle groups, you have Stacy, Tammy's and Kendra's, if you're looking at it right now, Tammy can go inside her circle, click the invite, and she has her own personal URL that she can text someone. So when she texts that, it's like, hey, come join me and my personal circle and group.
When they click it, it takes them to mighty network to her circle. And so it's a personal invitation. And that is what, and that is really, I think what blew everybody's mind that I've talked to about this. You know, there's something that I remember Hannah saying before we have a bunch of, I've, I said we had a bunch of leaders on our team and she said leaders are going to lead when you give that like Sase McVane has already been stoked about having her own circle and her own link that she can bring in her own people.
They're going to lead. They're going to lead. And so I think that's the most exciting part. And as you come into Mighty Networks, what's now set up that you might see is there's a welcome checklist, so it makes sure that everybody navigates. Well, so it's not confusing. Yeah. And if you have a circle, um, I'm going to create little graphics with a QR code for you so that you can just, like, if you have something on your Instagram or, um, I'm sorry, not on your Instagram, but maybe you're like, you put it on your phone, whatever you people get to scan it real fast.
Join my circle, scan my QR code. Scan it. Can I ask a quick question and this might be stupid, but I have been playing around and playing around with it. There's not an actual app yet, right? We're just all still going to get to get that logo is like 25, 000 a year. So I opted not to do that price plan. So, um, maybe one day.
Why not? Why didn't you do that? Come on. They make it very expensive for you to get your own logo. Now when you're inside the app, you see our logo. Okay. So what is the actual, cause right now I'm just using the link and going in there. So what is the actual app name? Mighty Network. It's called Mighty Network.
Oh, okay. And there will be, yeah, there'll be an app. There'll be an email with like a step by step guide on how to do it. Okay. So it's not. All right. So I'm, I'm, I'm not that dumb for, for missing that. Cause I have been like. But look in your apps and find net mining network. And then it'll say, there'll be two boxes that once you download it, there'll be two boxes that pop up and it'll say create a network or join.
And you'll click join and then in the search menu, you'll type out creative woman and there you will see not only our name, but our logo. I've been trying to figure that out. Thank you. Yeah, that's why we haven't really screamed and yelled it yet. We're figuring all that out. What, what work, you know, all the things.
I'm gonna do that right now. Yeah. It's a real, it's, I love the desktop version for sure, but I love the app because that's how I've just been going through the desk. That's just, yeah, that's fine. And I'm like, I know there's another way. Yeah. Okay. Last thoughts, ideas, concerns, happiness, joy, ready to eat.
I'm excited about the retreat. And what's going to come out of that is going to be really great. I'm excited about that.
Well, this is the only retreat I'll be going to probably all year, so. Why? I don't do things like that. One and done. It was last year, and I'll just tell on Kendra, but y'all are, thank you, everybody was there. She goes, um, I, so she came to the retreat, of course, Friday night. She goes, I don't spend the night anywhere but my own bed.
I was like, that's fine, that's why we're doing it in Austin, because a lot of people feel that way. And then she's like, uh, we were there Friday night at the retreat. And at the end, just all talking, she goes, um, and she had already said, Saturday's the day I sleep in Heather. I'm not going to be here. And I challenged her.
I was like, I get it. You do. And that was when she was working for a couple other companies that were really making her work a ton. She was really in a stressed out season. And I knew that, but I said, but I, I encourage you to come. Because this is, you know, whatever, I don't know what I said, but I was very blunt.
We're very blunt with each other. That's true. And she, when she shut up the next morning, she goes, Mmm, like that, Timmy. And then she totally got prayed over and prophesied over, and she was like, Oh, that happens. That's true. I did cry like a baby.
He's like, I was supposed to be here. It was good. It was good time. And I think I'm, I'm planning to stay the night this time. So. Oh my gosh. I'm so excited. Long as I'm not sleeping next to anyone who snores, I'll be good. Okay, then you don't want to sleep in the same room with me. I'll just sleep on the couch.
Or the room above you! Oh, no. I just want to sleep. I don't know, Crystal, if you heard this story, but Tammy somehow got the guest bedroom to herself because I was going to put y'all together. And Penny was like, uh uh. I snore. And I was like, the only bed that's open is the bunk room. She's like, I'll take it.
And Tammy was like, who is snoring? I was like, you're in a room by yourself. What are you talking about? Who is snoring? It was Penny! Underneath her and Hope's room! Oh no! It was bad. I told you. It was so bad. You might want to rethink it, Kendra. Yeah, now I'm, I actually am. I really am. No! We need a supply of earplugs.
I sleep with white noise. If Ezra so much as like, sniffles in the Our bed. I'm like, you're snoring. I'm like shoving him. I'm a very light sleeper. I use white noise too. All right, guys, it's five. I love you guys. And I had a pop off. It looks like for her kids. So, but it's recorded. Love y'all.
