Healed looks good on ya’

Follow along as I examine what Mary Magdalene went through via the Bible. This amazing woman was healed and delivered from seven demons and diseases! Jesus healed her with no questions asked. She went onto live in peace.

Another example of Jesus’ healing power is when he healed the woman who suffered from excessive bleeding for many years. Then He said to her “Daughter your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”- Luke 8:48

We as women go through many things that we keep to ourselves and just endure in silence. Jesus healed many men and women in the Bible and I believe the same healing, reviving power that performed miracles back then is living through you and I. That same power is in effect today and will heal anyone who asks for healing. Those same words of Jesus are biblical truth I believe we can hold onto. Whatever the aliment may be - anxiety, depression, loss, unclean spirits, or anything, Jesus can and will heal.

Healing, deliverance, and wholeness is yours and mine. We are victorious as daughters of the one true living God – Jesus Christ! By every single stripe he endured on the cross, healing is ours. Jesus is the healer, Jehovah – Rapha, God of peace.

Healing may look and feel like freedom. If something like a situation or a person has been bringing you down, healing may look like releasing the situation or person to Jesus and feeling a weight lifted off your shoulders. Healing may feel like an overwhelming indescribable feeling of peace in your mind, body, and soul. Healing may look like forgiveness, either towards someone else or yourself. It may also look like having a light-hearted conversation about something that used to weigh you down and now you can speak on it in peace. These are just a few examples of what healing may look like. Each person’s pain is different, and their healing is unique to their personal life and circumstances. The only common thread that all believers have in regard to healing, is whom the healer is - Jesus!

Ways to keep healing and deliverance is to make the decision to stop engaging in sin that was causing the need to be healed (i.e. addiction, pornography, lust, gluttony, pride), renew your mind daily in God’s word and fill your mind with God’s truths (verses from the Bible, God’s promises for you, declarations to declare over yourself based off the Word of God ), be in community with other believers who will help you keep on track and who can motivate you to stay near Jesus.

These are just a few ways to be healed and to stay healed and whole. Things that can also help with healing are prayer and fasting and laying all the concerns at Jesus’ feet. As well as seeking Godly counsel, and or a Christian counselor to work through any deep-rooted issues. Learning new behavior and coping mechanism to replace the sin you released will help keep the healing consistent.

Wherever you may be on your healing journey, know that you are not alone. God is first and foremost for you 100 %. Your tribe of Created Woman ladies are praying for you daily and cheering you on, even if we have not met yet. Reach out if you like and remember that healing looks good on you!

Prayer

Dear Lord,

Heal every single aliment in your daughter’s mind, body, soul, and life. Give her your freedom, peace, joy, and unconditional love. Wrap her in your arms and supply all her needs. Thank you for healing her today. Be with her all the days of her life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 30:2 (NIV)

“Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.”

Personal reflection:

1.    What does being healed look like for you?

2.    What would you like to ask God healing for?

3.    What steps can you take today to be healed and how can you renew your mind daily?
