"That Is Not My Baby!"
Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
You formed me in my mother’s womb.

Once upon a time, there was a little four-year-old girl named Hadley, who loved her baby doll with all her heart. That little girl just happened to be my granddaughter, and the daughter of Created Woman founder, Heather Frierson.
Shortly after Hadley’s birth, I gave her a little cloth doll that she fell in love with. Four years later, she still cuddles “her baby” as she drifts off to sleep.
On a recent visit to her Aunt Crystal’s house, “Hadley’s baby” was accidently left out of her suitcase as she traveled to my house to spend the next night.
Oh no! What’s a grandmother to do? As bedtime approached, I picked up a duplicate of the doll, which I have on hand in cases of emergencies such as these, and tucked it beside her. When she picked it up to cuddle for the night, she began sobbing deep, heartfelt sobs: “That is not my baby.” “That is not my baby!”
And with that we both cried until she finally fell asleep, knowing in her mother’s heart, that her real baby was missing! Why did I ever think that I could fool her with a duplicate substitute.
Where I am going with this post that is supposed to encourage women to become all God created them to be from the inside out?
Somehow I caught a glimpse, through Hadley, that God’s heart is even more tender and sensitive towards us than that of our earthly mother. He knows us from the inside out, and just like a Mother, even with identical twins, there is no mistaking our identity and His plans for each of us.
After all, it was He who shaped us from the inside out!
There is no substitute for who can fulfill the work He has specifically created us to do.
