Team Happy: What's After The Conference, MEMBERSHIP!
So there's been some talk. Um, the past few years, actually, the first time it ever came up was when, when I was pregnant with Hopi, which now she's eight. And um, I had a lady who a couple times prophesied over me and we were at this event and she was like, the Lord's been telling me membership, but she was like, and it's for you.
I didn't know what to do with it. And I'm gonna be honest, I felt like there was a few things in the past few years that I've been like, I'll wait to do that. When I'll wait to do that. And I'm in the season of like, we're gonna do it now because maybe we're just stalling out. Like I know. I know. It doesn't look like we're stalling out, but to me, as a visionary, I feel like we're always stalling out.
So, Just so you know,
we're always, oh, we're supposed to be to the next thing already. And y'all like, it's amazing. I'm like, no, we're supposed to don't camp out here. Don't camp out here. Yeah. Yeah. And so we're just going. And so, um, even to the point where I was talking to Kendra the other day on the phone and I said, I'm already over the conference.
I'm on onto the next, like, this is what we're doing. She goes, well, well let's stay focused on the conference for now, please. I was like, okay. Um, We are doing a soft launch of membership. Hey Sarah, grab some food girl out in the front in the hallway. So I just felt like as we go into the conference so many times, and this is one of the reasons when we used to do Style Speaks conference, we did it in February because we we doing it in August and we're like, yeah, I mean October.
And we're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then holidays hit and you did nothing. We moved it to February so we could. And now this is what's next. Gather her. That is still our next steps. But let me tell you how many have noticed that some of our lingo has changed. That yes, we're equipped in a power, but have y'all noticed a little bit of lingo changing of who we minister to?
Anybody can say it. Ministry and marketplace. Yeah. Have y'all noticed? We've been saying that? Yeah. A lot of marketplace stuff. We started saying that last year cause we realized who was coming. Um, and it, we used to always say, we help women get off the sidelines. These women are not on the sidelines.
They're in the game. They just don't know they some, it's like a split. It's still a split. They don't know what's next and they're striving to go or they're in it and they're working it and they wanna be in community that's doing the same thing. I'll give an example of Dee just looking at her. We, um, I gather her a couple weeks, months ago.
Dee was there another D. D, we'll call her Deidra. She was like, we were in Mastermind and her question was, she goes, I don't know. Women who like me, love my career on fire. It was her first time and love going to work, but also love Jesus. And I have two different worlds and I don't. Know how to merge them.
She's like, I need friends. I was like, well, first you came to the right place. Yeah. Um, but then I introduced her to this d and they had a blind double date. I was like, what a matchmaker I am. They went blind, I guess. Um, but Dere, why don't you come sit here, Sarah? Yeah. So basically, yes, the, the. The lingo.
Come on. The lingo has been changing. Um, and I'm recording. Not I'm recording this. This is what the microphone is for. It's not so you can hear me better. Okay. Uh, I think y'all all know that by now. So what are we doing to tangibly equip, gather hers our open door. We are going to launch membership. And if y'all remember a bunch of y'all were here at Gather her, we had that test market.
Test vote like should we charge for gather her? No, it's our open door. I feel strongly about that and I'm so glad we had that conversation you guys. Such wise women, which is why you're all just amazing leaders that you are, but we have to go deeper with the women that are here, and if we're saying we are helping women in the ministry marketplace, let's really help them because they can get it from a lot of sources.
There's a lot of. Marketplace resources for women. There's a lot of things that say empower her, but not a lot that point people back to Jesus. Right. Um, you know, you've heard me talk about Jordan Rainer for five years, cuz it's been since 2017, since I read his book. And I remember the year because I read it while in Hawaii.
That's why I always remember. And that was 2017. I read the entire book Call to Create and y'all have heard me say that for years. And here's the thing, if we're helping women in the marketplace to crush it and to do business, We also have to crush it on the financial side too, right? So we are gonna charge for membership and we're not gonna apologize about it because what you guys can offer and what we can offer as an organization is valuable.
It is valuable. The leaders that we have here are amazing. So I'm just gonna do this really quick rundown. We're really doing a soft launch because we, at first, when we talked about it, when I say we, I just mean like me, Christie, Kendra, you know, because this is our job during the day, not just, you know, on when this is what we do all week long.
Not all week long, but you know what I'm saying. Um, but I want feedback. This is why I present things to you, because you guys are in it. Why we had the conversation after gather her about, gather her. I, val, we, you guys are the movers when shakers. So we decided not to do levels that that was not for right now.
We'll do a soft launch of one level and if you see here right in the middle of the page, We're gonna month offer monthly online workshops. I really see us going a lot of digital spaces, digital packages. For instance, this conference, we're gonna shoot it, video it, and then sell it. It's gonna be a digital resource.
I'm really thinking about having DLC packaged in a way that if they don't wanna be paired, you can buy it throughout the year for a different price, probably higher. So that can be downloadable all year round. Now I think the value is in matching. But we're only gonna offer that twice a year. Right?
People want, might wanna match with their friend and they correct Massachusetts. That's right. So monthly online workshops, this is where I feel like all of you guys are teachers and wise wisdom offering different workshops for business leaders. Maria has her own business. Can you imagine all the questions you would get?
Like, how do you do it? I even look at you. I'm like, how did you rent that space? Like, what? What's up girl? How'd you do that? What steps did you take? Practical steps. We're talking business planning, time management, um, because God values all of that. We're supposed to do things with excellence. I even heard on podcast on the way here, it was Mark Patterson.
He said, I guarantee you in Nazareth when Jesus was a carpenter, no faulty legs came out of his shop. Right. My, that's good. He did everything with excellence and we're like, yep. And you can look all through the Bible. That work is important. Work was given to Adam and Eve before the fall. Work is supposed to be a blessing to us and to others.
That's how we're gonna. Empower women and how are we gonna make a difference in the community? So I'm, I'm getting off course monthly online workshops, free digital devotional book quarterly. So if they're paying monthly, which is what we want them to do for $25. I didn't mention that, but you might have read it.
What are they getting monthly? Well, we're gonna do masterclass like I just talked about with different things. Free digital devotional. We've already got the devotionals. Here's our new one. But if they're not a box subscriber, but we can give them a digital download every quarter, it's not the same. I'm not a Kindle reader.
I want the real thing, but it's something free monthly toolkit. Now, what that means is just, just different tools for them to use as business leaders. For example, as a nonprofit, we are members of Women's Non-Profit Alliance. They do our accounting. They do our coaching. But because of the level I'm in, I get certain things every month.
I get a toolkit every month and it's masterclass. It's um, social media resources, it's nonprofit resources, right, that I use. Private Facebook group, 50% discount conference tickets for 2024 and bonus. And we say it's a bonus because not every member is gonna live in, in town, but if they come to get, gather her, they get a bundle of raffle tickets for free.
So when we talk about next steps, when women say, oh my God, this conference is amazing, what do we do? Well, we have gather her this Thursday and it's free. Girl, you need to come cuz we have Ladon. She's speaking. We're gonna show a video of her. So that's gonna be powerful. If y'all don't know Ladon, she's been a couple of times y'all firehouse, she speaks with CEOs of major corporations and charges $20,000 plus.
We're getting her for free. That's the caliber of speakers we're bringing in. Okay. We're no longer hearing testimonies. We're here. We're gonna bring in the caliber of women, and you guys are that caliber of women as well. We want to hear from you more. Um, so come together her, but also that membership. Now is everybody gonna sign up on conference?
No. Well, some people sure. Cause it might be in our tribe and they're like $25. I want that. Not only do I want that, but it's also supports the nonprofit because yes, we have donors. Donors usually just want to give. They don't necessarily come to gather her or anything. We do. We have several donors that you don't even know who they are.
Show up soccer. Y'all heard me talk about this during the retreat. We started depending that on that as the source. God is our source. Soccer and moody is not. It is a resource. So, We cannot be like, we gotta do more events. More events. That is not sustainable for the long term. That is our supplemental. And we have seen that the last couple months, just so you know, it's like, oh God, it's not the same that it was last year.
Um, so we, we cannot depend on that. It is supplemental, it's donors, the hands and the fate of Jesus, not food and alcohol. It is members. So we can practically equip women. That's where we are going. That's where I'm already too. I'm already over. I'm not over the conference. I'm super excited. I'm just kidding.
But I've already seen that this, we have to build digital platforms to practically equip women so that there's resources continuously, whether they're a member or one-offs. Um, we learned very quick during Covid. We were a, um, technical ministry that did a lot of churches. That's why we end up hiring Christie.
How many, how many tech systems do we, I don't even know now. I think we're up to like 15 or 20 maybe. I don't know. Wow, that's a lot. It's a lot. And they all have a price tag to them. Just fyi. But God is our source and he's showing us different resources. I believe Sasan is a resource to open the door and bring more women in that didn't know us.
All of these are resources. We are stewards have to be stewards of the MI vision and mission. We have to be the ambassadors as volunteers and as members. And if we really believing in equipment and power, which you all do, I'm not signing you down, obviously then we have to be equipped with what we are offering.
And so we are gonna have a new tri-fold. And this, you won't know this backwards and forward. I get it in 10 days. You won't be like, oh, let me just tell you. I know that. But we will have information available and you can very well say. This is new. We're so excited and you get to be a part of this on the fr on the front end.
As a me new member, we're gonna build this out with different levels and so we're gonna be listening. To people. We are, what do you need? They get to be a pioneer. They get to be a pioneer, I love that word. They get to be a pioneer for just $25. And we talked about grandfathering people in at different levels, but we're not ready to say that yet.
Look, even Gina made a face, so we're not gonna say that yet. But who knows? We might, we might, you know, um, we're, we want them to get to a second and third level or the third level, we really want it to be, um, the box. Okay, so that's where we're going after the conference. Any questions, ideas, thoughts? I'll pass the mic.
Did you say, oh, uh, I was just gonna ask you about dlc. Like did you say DLC is one of the things that's coming? Another conference, another level. Okay. But it's not gonna be included in the, but I mean things that people can do after the conference. Oh. So your question is DLC and like when's it starting?
And that kinda stuff. We're gonna launch dlc. Yeah. Right. It's on the calendar still. We are gonna eventually have it as a downloadable for people that went, it went off. So we need to talk about date. If we're gonna launch it again, we are gonna launch it again, but we had it in May written down. Yeah, first week in May.
But I didn't, we haven't talked about it. Yeah, we said May, but now we're launching membership, someone that's a conflict that we might need to discuss. Because we wanna offer that. We can't say from the conference, subscribe to a box, get on membership, get on dlc. This is our one message at the conference is membership.
We're gonna have boxes available, and that's gonna be another level we're gonna talk about CW Collective. But our main feedback, if you will, as representatives and ambassadors, is come this Thursday to gather. Don't do the next step. Come back and be a part of this community. And think about this membership because if you're really ready to go deep and build this community, cuz that's what we're offering.
We're offering community, we're offering to go deeper and we're offering community. Is together her onth. It is. There's a gather her on the take a month off. I'm gonna take a month off after that. Yeah, I am Maybe. Um, but um, here, this is one of my thoughts. I'm not saying this is a God thought. This is on the way here.
If and, well, I already said it actually. If we're saying we're helping women in the marketplace, and that's where the next big move of God is, which we believe, and even Penny shared it with me a few weeks ago, that there was prophecies during the eighties and nineties about being a movement in the marketplace.
Same day. I think you shared it. Stacy and I were at an event at Celebration Church and they had this quote from Billy Graham that said, I believe the next big move of God will happen in the marketplace. Billy Graham and I was. What and I, I see it so much. We see it in so many ways that's happening. If you're real, if you're looking for it, you see it.
You know, all of you guys are amazing women who have amazing jobs that are doing things in the marketplace. I know you all see that as your ministry in different ways. So let's equip the women and what do you need, Stacey, what were you gonna say? I was just thinking about this price point. Yes. Because I think it's a good price.
But like I think about, okay, so I'm in, uh, I'm in, I have a membership through my relationship coach, and that is $37 a month. Yeah. You know, so I'm just saying that, I'm wondering if maybe it's too low, huh? Yeah. So I agree with you. That's dollar day. A dollar a day. So we did discuss this in at length and just feel like if we're gonna add levels, Um, and if we're playing monthly, the only thing we can give them monthly is the workshop Right now.
Um, everything else is quarterly. Okay. So, alright. That's kind of, but just a thought. Yeah. No, we're definitely gonna have at least three levels. Okay. And they will go up. Yeah. But thank you for believing in us. We believe in it too. Well, and I, I mean, the membership that I have with my relationship coach is, I mean, there's, I could have, I could be in a.
Uh, daily. Yeah, there's like weekly. Yeah. I think there's so much room for opportunity. Oh yeah. For growth. And it might be that this entry level is what's pioneered or what is what's grandfathered that we say, you know what, we're not offering enough in 2024. This same stuff. Yeah. Will be 35. But those that signed up for the same information at 25 stay at 25.
Um, well, and I think, I love the idea of moving up level. Into my subscription too. Yep. Oh, you did? So you could offer that. But I love the idea of moving up levels. Cause one thing that we talked about was in the past, I think now we're moving to a new direction, but in the past it seemed like there was, the creative woman was a good like launching place, but then women would be going in their business, whatever they're doing and they're, then they've kind of moved on.
That's right. So I think the next levels is like a really good opportunity to engage those people. Yes. Take it to the next level. Next level. Even today, I'm a part of Jordan Rainer's community. Um, he doesn't call it membership, which I, I like another word for membership, but it might not be cuz we already call, gather her, our community.
So we can't really, maybe inner circle or, I don't know, Paton Patreon. That's podcast usually, isn't it? But it can be real top. Kim has an inner circle, she called it very inner circle. Yeah. And we're the CW circle. I don't know. But anyway, I was looking at what he offers for monthly membership. I think I pay 35, maybe a little bit more.
I get three things. I get biweekly, vocational, small group. I get the word before, work devotional every day. Bimonthly you mean, or two times a month? Workshop. Yes. Biweekly. Biweekly, vocational, small groups online. At Zoom, I get weekly devotionals that he writes, which are good. The word before work, they're good and community.
Through Slack. I'm like, yeah, we don't have to offer much. If people believe in the mission and want the same like mindedness and they know they get community, they'll do it. And we don't. And but also we don't wanna do it just for money. We wanna do it to offer, we want to be the excellent group that offers real training for real women.
Like I keep going back to like, we need a workshop that shows women how to write a one page business plan. How do you do a budget to start your business? How do you time manage? How do you interview employees? Love it. How do you interview employees? That's right. How are you actually practically leading in the ministry marketplace?
And it's not just having your quiet time. It's, and also, you know, Paul was a tent maker. How many people did he lead to Christ while making tents? Deborah was a judge. We have all these things that we see work in that I don't believe has been shared in the church the last few years, but it's being shared now.
